I have been in the fire service for nearly 30 years, both paid and volunteer. I have had the opportunity to use many different types of suppression equipment from flappers to backpack pumps, along with PTO driven pumps that would supply water only when the engine RPM's were raised and the vehicle was in neutral.
Since coming onboard with the Woodland Volunteer Fire Department and using the HMA equipment first hand, I never realized how inefficient all other suppression units are.
The HMA Fire unit not only knocks down fire efficiently, but with less water. And the high pressure allows for getting deep-seated fire, for example, around tree bottoms and stump holes. There is the assurance that they are put out and no risk of them flaming back up. With the pressure, foam and water you never have to worry about a rekindle because when you put the fire out, it stays out.
I would recommend the high pressure water/foam unit to any department. They are very cost effective when you purchase them, trouble free to operate and easy to service. And HMA has an outstanding service department who will take care of any issues that may arise.
